18th ANNUAL CONFERENCE

This year's Conference theme, HR 2009: Navigating Change, is a reflection of all the too evident fact that in these troubled times change is impacting everyone professionally, personally and globally.  Human resource professionals can address these changes in a positive and enlightening way, for both their organization and its employees.  Through the presentations in the Conference workshops, human resource professionals will learn why some employees embrace change and others resist it, how to implement change, how to chamption change, how to adapt to change, how to work with change, and how to successfully guide employees through a stormy sea to a strong, safe harbor.

Conference Goals

  • Increase the professional expertise and knowledge of human resource professionals and other business executives through training and organized learning opportunities.
  • Examine best practices in various aspects of HR and learn the importance and application to an organization.
  • Investigate the implementation and management of change.
  • Support peer contacts and effective one-to-one networking in a professional setting.
  • Enable participants to review current resources in the Exhibitors' Showcase.  Relevant displays are presented in a convenient exhibition area.
  • Create important linkages for the future.
